51km - Dick Kloss

In Memory Of…

Mike Kuipers

1983 - 2022

Spontaneous, Generous, Caring & Comical are all words commonly used to describe our friend Mike Kuipers. Mike died by suicide, just over 1 year ago. Mike was truly the life of every room and party he went to…

Dick Kloss was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. He was also a loved and respected foster father, coach and mentor to many other youth who will cherish their memories with Dick and Bert. In 1991, at age 50, Dick completed a personal goal of swimming non-stop, over 42 miles across Lake Huron…

Supporting Better Mental Health for All

THE CAUSE

We are raising money for the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), Canada's largest mental health teaching hospital. CAMH sets the standards for care, research, education and leading social change.

Jason Kloss

THE SWIMMER

In 2011, Jason Kloss successfully completed a 65km, 26 hour non-stop swim across Lake Huron — raising $22,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society. Jason’s coach was his late grandfather, who completed the same swim exactly 20 years before him.

Now, Jason is challenging himself to swim another Great Lake, and this time to raise money and awareness for a different cause — Mental Health and Suicide Prevention.
